In addition to language-learning books, CDs, and DVDs, Lewiston Public Library offers patrons access to online language-learning tools Mango Languages and Pronunciator.

Mango Languages is available both in the library, at home, and on-the-go, with apps available for Android and iOS (Apple) devices. Currently, over 70 world languages and 15 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are offered, with more to come.
Pronunciator provides interactive, self-paced language learning for 80 languages and ESL for 50 non-English languages. Audio lessons, interactive textbooks, intelligent flashcards, phrasebooks, pronunciation analysis and quizzes are included. Users create their own login to access the resource and track their progress.
