Do you need to conduct research?

• If you do not have a library card and need research help, please submit a Research Request Form to us at lplreference@lewistonmaine.gov.
  
• We subscribe to many online services that you can use for free. The services are featured on our digital services website, LibraryLA.org. Everything listed on that site is available from home with your library card.
• 
  A comprehensive list of databases provided by the Maine State Library for all library patrons in Maine can be found on the Digital Maine Library page.

  Information on how to access Ancestry.com for free, as well as other genealogical resources, are available on our Genealogy page

• Please note: Due to the COVID-19 closure, Ancestry.com is temporarily available from outside the library building until December 31, 2021.
