Building Community

Jan 29, 2018— 5:30 pm

No merger, no problem. Explore the ways we could build Lewiston Auburn, together.
Join us in LPL’s Callahan Hall on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 5:30 PM for an evening of conversations about the possibilities, hopes and dreams for the community of Lewiston Auburn. Together we will explore the many ways LA is already working across the river for a vibrant future, and how we can each have a role in community building acts and activities that build OUR community.
During the past two years, there were many conversations about LA being held at checkout lines, kitchen tables and in public forums. We heard about what defines and divides Lewiston and Auburn, and we heard about the visions for a merged and separate LA. We are offering a night to dream aloud about the future of our community; setting aside the boundaries that resources, politics and municipal lines can create.
LA is a great community today- what could tomorrow look like if we approached our future together?
This event is free and open to the public. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
