VIRTUAL: Camp NaNoWriMo

Apr 01, 2020— 2:00 pm

April is Camp NaNoWriMo!

Join us for a virtual writing camp this April with the Lewiston Public Library!

Camp NaNoWriMo is a writing event that happens in April and July. It’s different from NaNoWriMo in November because you can work on any type of creative project, not just a novel. First drafts or revision, scripts or stories or poems or essays—all are welcome! Just set a goal and get writing!

·         Sign up as a young writer on ywp.nanowrimo.org
    • TEENS, use code AIIWXIHW to join the LPL Teens classroom
    • Grades 7 &8 (MIDDLE SCHOOL): use code OGALNFOE to join the LPL Middle School classroom.
    • Grades 1-6 (ELEMENTARY SCHOOL): use code GDMVRWIT to join the LPL Kids’ classroom.
·         Create a goal, track your writing, and race the clock to complete your goal in one month!

Join us at 2pm on Wednesdays in April for virtual write-ins via Zoom! You can access the link on your NaNoWriMo account. We’ll be doing writing sprints, talking about writing, getting writing prompts, and playing writing games. We hope to see you there!
