Galaxy Floats

Aug 06, 2019— 5:30 pm

Tuesday, August 6th is National Root Beer Float Day!
In honor of that, at this program, we will be making sweet, refreshing ice cream floats! A large scoop of ice cream placed in a cup of cold soda, what could be better? There will be a variety of ice creams and sodas to choose from as well as toppings with which to create your “galaxy”.
We will also talk about the disputed history of ice cream floats plus where the tradition of the root beer float began in the US.
This free program starts at 5:30pm and is open to teens and adults.
