Teen Summer Reading
Teens grades 7-12 are invited to participate in the LPL Teen Summer Reading program!
Teens can sign up at the 2nd floor Reference desk to receive a reading log, an LPL string bag filled with summer essentials, and a free book of your choice. Track your reading all summer (via paper logs or the Reader Zone app) and enter to win one of several grand prizes, including:
- A 36” Airwalk longboard
- A Kindle Fire HD tablet
- A new backpack filled with school supplies
- Sports equipment, DVD sets, Magic: the Gathering cards, and more!
Grand prize winners will be drawn at the end of the program, and winners must be able to come to the library to pick up their prizes. The more you read, the more entries you get! For extra entries into the raffle, teens can complete a Cosmic Books Bingo card or write a Teen Book Review.
Sign up starts on Friday, June 21st and completed logs must be turned in by Saturday, August 17th to be entered into the grand prize raffle.
