National Novel Writing Month

Nov 01, 2018—

National Novel Writing Month Kick-Off
Thursday, Nov 1, 12:00 – 2:00
Ever wanted to write a book?  Join us for a Q & A on nanowrimo with tips on drafting 50,000 words in 30 days.
The kick-off session on November 1 will be followed by Write-Ins at the library on the following days:
Saturday, November 10 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Wednesday, November 14 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Saturday, November 24 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Write-Ins are gatherings of nanowrimo participants to discuss the craft and challenge each other to writing sprints.  Refreshments and prizes will be provided, with an awesome door prize for each session, free of cost.
For more info, sign up for free at nanowrimo.org and home yourself to the Maine region.  By joining the region, you can learn about other local writing events across the state, and send messages to local volunteers known as Municipal Liaisons.
Bring a notebook or laptop and get ready to write like the wind.  All events are free to attend, and held in the Jeanne Couture room.
