Join the Lewiston Public Library and the experts from Rainbow Bicycle and The Bruised Boutique Skate Shop for a FREE workshop on bicycle and skate maintenance!
Rainbow Bicycle will be at the library from 12:00 – 1:00 to talk about the ins and out of maintaining your bike! Learn how to make minor cable adjustments to your shifting and brakes. What to watch for when you hears creaks, squeaks, and grinding noises. And of course how to change a flat!
The Bruised Boutique Skate Shop will be at the library from 2:00 – 4:00 to help you get the most out of your skates! The Bruised Boutique will cover everything you need to know about your skates and how to eke out every drop of performance and efficiency. We will quickly cover the basics that everyone should know, including some tricks that will save you money. More importantly, we will look at every component from top to bottom, examining every aspect of various boots, plates, wheels, bearings, and toe stops on the market and how to match them to your individual skating style.
This is an all ages event.
