Shakespeare Snacks and Facts: An Ear for Conversation

O’ special ear that Shakespeare has for conversation! How remarkable he is at representing characters, their language during intimate, heated, and desperate conditions! Would that we could comprehend the grandeur and majesty of his mind!

Professor Sanford Freedman of Bates College will present a lecture on the beauty and immediacy of Shakespeare’s language; he will provide the facts, and LPL will provide the snacks.
