Olive Oil: A History & Tasting

Aug 07, 2017— 5:00 pm

Lewiston Public Library and FIORE Artisan Olive Oils & Vinegars, featuring owner and founder Pat O’Brien, present a special event that will bring the history and flavors of olive oils to life. Join us for an exploration of how olive oils are made, their interesting histories, and the differences between the olive oils available today.
After the presentation, stay for a special tasting of assorted FIORE olive oils and balsamic vinegars that complement each other and learn some new ways to pair olive oils and vinegars with food. This event will enable you to take a global tour of the freshest extra virgin olive oils and the most flavorful balsamic vinegars of Modena, Italy.
The program is open to teens and adults and is free. Registration is strongly recommended for this event. Please register by calling 513-3135 or emailing lplreference@gmail.com.
