Maine Library Quest
Oh No!
We’ve received tips from throughout the state of Maine that bees are missing this summer. None have been spotted anywhere. This is a disaster! Bees are necessary to pollinate our plants, and pollination is what makes more and more plants! So, you see, without our bees, our food supply will quickly dwindle. The bees were just here in the spring, so we suspect someone may have stolen them all.
We’ve narrowed it down to 10 suspects, but we simply don’t have the staff available to run down all our leads. This is where you come in. Can you help us explore all our leads and figure out which of our suspects has the bees?
How to Play:
- Download and print or pick up at your local participating library a suspect tracker. This has all the suspects and room to write down the clues you find.
- Be sure to bookmark the website at mainelibraryquest.weebly.com as you’ll want to refer to the pictures of the suspects.
- All the clues exist on the websites of participating libraries. You must find the clue on each website. Look for our logo (to the left)
- Once you think you know who stole all the bees, enter your guess on the website.
- Every entry is entered into a prize raffle!
The quest runs from July 1- August 16
